Den of the Hyenas is the 20th map in Luxor and Luxor HD. It also appears in Luxor: The Wrath of Set.
Design
The design of the map in Luxor features a sand background. There are six hyenas that are various shades of brown. At the bottom of the map is a row of pawprints, created by the hyenas.
The design of the map in Luxor HD has a stone background with moss covering the path. There are now many bushes and plants, and the row of pawprints are now gone. At the top of the map are two golden ankhs.
Difficulty Analysis
This map is not a difficult map, as there are many horizontal stretches and the path itself is quite long, making it easy to eliminate spheres before they reach the danger zone. However, the danger zone is short, so if there are many non-like sphere groups at the danger zone, the level can become very tricky. Most of the time, most spheres can be eliminated before reaching the danger zone.
