The design of the map in Luxor AR features a light brown wood background with a blue scaled path. The left-hand side of the map features three carvings of soldiers about to throw a spear, an Eye of Horus symbol at the top left. The center of the map features a carving of a soldier about to shoot an arrow whilst on a horse drawn carriage. On the right-hand side of the map is a carving of a snake, a gold and red uraeus, a golden parrot with a red beak and green coloring, and a wooden squiggly line next to a circle. The bottom of the map features a row of hieroglyphics carved into the map, along with two other rows of hieroglyphics around the map.
The design of the map in Luxor AR HD now has a gold background with a blue marble path. There are now four white crystals on the left-hand side of the map, and in the center of the map are now six blue gems around the part of the path that has the carving of the soldier on the carriage. Next to the carving of the snake is two white crystals. The row of hieroglyphics at the bottom of the map are now gone, and only the hieroglyphics on the right-hand side of the map remain. The squiggly line with the circle is now a uraeus symbol.
This map is an easier map, as the map is a mostly vertical map with a very long danger zone, and a long map in itself. One problem with the map is the vertical section at the beginning of the map, however, this is usually not a big deal as it's at the beginning of the map. A tip that can be used on the beginning of the path is to use the Lightning Ball when a new path is about to come, which will eliminate all marbles on the beginning part of the map. All in all, the map is not a difficult one to beat.
